My dad got stabbed on the finger by a glass cup that broke. Any other ways to treat it to avoid infection?
The would is pretty deep and it was bleeding a lot. I don't know what happened exactly but when I got home from school he had a bandage wrapped all over his hand. I wanted him to go to the hospital but he refused )= I just finished helping him change the bandage. Here's what I did.
- Had it washed
- Cracked this little tube thingy (I had no idea what it was, he just told me to do it) But when I cracked it, it became flat, it turned yellow, and it became cold.
- Put a cotton pad over it
- Wrapped his hold hand with a bandage.
Now, I'm really worried about his would because I can tell by the look of his face he was in DEEP pain. (Pretty obvious) But he doesn't want to go to the hospital, I even offered to pay for his medication.
