Living Healthy With Mountain Bike Finance
We all know that we need to exercise for our health but hitting the gym first thing in the a.m. or right after work can be anything but fun. However, if you find an exercise routine that you enjoy doing, you can have fun whilst getting fitter.
1. Use Your Hoofs: Using our feet and legs to walk or run is the most popular way most people choose to exercise because it is free and we normally have to incorporate it into our lives. And they add that walking is an excellent activity for fitness "fanatics" of all ages, even those who may have cardiac conditions or other ailments. You can even do walking and running inside or out! Although there is a bigger impact on your heart and joints, running will burn double the calories that walking does. And for those already off to a running start, make sure you invest in the best shoes you can afford and that your shoe is comfortable and properly fits.
2. On Your Bike: Whether you do it on an exercise bike or a mountain bike, biking is a great way to get fit by working your heart and increasing your stamina. If you need to buy a new bike, mountain bike finance is a brilliant alternative, you can look at it as a gym membership.
3. Do The Stroke: Doing the stroke or swimming is one of the best exercises for the entire body building not only muscle but physical endurance as well. If you happen to be a bit overweight or out of shape, you can start by doing some (supervised) aqua aerobics in a pool, which is generally easier on the joints.
4. Getting A Jump Start On Health And Fitness : Skipping rope is an inexpensive way to work out and you can do it practically anywhere. Not only does jumping rope tone and condition muscles, but also builds coordination. However, it can be hard on ankles, knees, feet, and back.
If you have been finding it difficult to fit in exercise, these ways should help with that.
How can I intensify my jump rope skipping and lose more fat?
2 and a half months ago I weighed in at 186 pounds, 5'9. I got to a point where I said enough is enough and completelty overhaled my way of life. I stopped eating all forms of junk food: Soda, pizza, burgers, hot dogs, red meat , EVERYTHING bad. I also started exercising 3-4 days a week by jump roping for 25-30 minute sessions at a medium-high intensity level.
In the beginning my goal was to lose atleast 2 pounds of fat a week, and i usually lose 2-4 pounds. I'm at 152 pounds now and recently its been alot harder to lose the rest of the stubborn body fat.
I've tried increasing the intensity and shortening sessions, but then i read something about how that only makes you lose carbs not fat since its anaerobic.
My question: What is your advice to intensifying my jump rope sessions so i can lose the rest of the fat? Do you advise higher intensity and shorter sessions? Or should I stick with medium intensity longer sessions ( 30 minutes )
Thanks.
First of all, CONGRATULATIONS!
You set a goal; you developed a plan; you stuck to it; and it worked. Well done!
I encourage you to change up your exercise routine. Rather than sticking solely with rope jumping, try some other forms of aerobic AND weight training exercises, and you'll find you can get yourself out of the weight loss slump. You body "gets used to" certain forms of exercise, and won't respond as well any more.
Swimming is an excellent choice. If swimming isn't available, go with something simple and effective like Tae Bo. Don't forget to INCLUDE resistance training. It's important. The more muscle you develop, the more calories you will burn naturally (muscle BURNS more calories than FAT).
Best of luck,
~M~
