Dog section: is it rude for people to allow their dogs to run up at people walking by?
barking/growling at them even though the dog doesn't leave it's yard?
I had this happen to me yesterday and after all the issues I've had with loose dogs lately my anxiety shot straight up and I about maced it before I realized it wasn't leaving the yard. No fence, no tether, no owner in sight. Scared the piss out of me =/
Granted I wasn't looking for it but I don't recall any signs of an "invisible fence".
In it's own yard... a secure yard? No, I don't think it's any more rude than than the Airforce flying combat planes over my head for training. The dog is doing it's job - being scary.
BUT if it was not in a fenced yard and just came to the border of it's property then it is madness and asking for trouble to keep a dog loose there.
