Several Good Reasons To Wear A Motorcycle Helmet
Some areas no longer have helmet laws. As a result, many people are riding their motorcycles with bare heads. You may think that it looks cool. Perhaps you wish to impress the opposite sex with an appearance of being dangerous.
There is a possibility that are very frugal and do not wish to waste money on a helmet. Maybe they believe that their brain should have maximum ventilation. There could be a number of reasons for not wearing protective head gear. There are also several good reasons to wear helmets. Here are some to consider.
The human head
Your head is a vital part of your body. You should give it a lot of attention, when it comes to protection. Maybe money is tight at the moment. You may have to decide between math tuition and a motorcycle helmet. The helmet may be the better choice.
Tuition is no good without your head. Even more important is that thing inside your head. It is called your brain. Brains perform many vital functions in your life. It is hard to live without one. Although there are people, that appear to be doing just that.
You need your brain to watch TV. Suppose you want to see a program on how to lose tummy fat. If you have a brain, you can see and hear the show. If your brain is dead or severely damaged, that may not be possible.
Brains can do many other things, also. Suppose you are out with friends, having a good time. You may be drinking beer. One beer can lead to another one. By the time you consume ten or twelve, your brain will talk to you. It will let you know that you have consumed too much alcohol. This is a good feature to have.
Perhaps you believe that it cannot happen to you. Only other people can become injured. This thinking has become very popular over the years. Cemeteries are full of people with thoughts like this. Maybe you do not want to think about it. In fact, you may wish to think about nothing. Be careful what you wish for. You could be thinking about nothing, sooner that you think.
Summary
If you do not wish to wear a motorcycle helmet, you do not have to. If the law permits it, it must be fine. Your head and brain may not be that important to you. Is it a matter of money? Are you choosing between a new helmet and maths tuition? If so, think about this. Your education is worthless without a place to put it. Make an attempt to protect your head, if you can. It is something that can come in handy, some day.
