I live in maryland and im wondering is there any way i can get a counselor to evaluate my child and give a report to the court on his well being and any reccommendations. Im trying to find son but im not sure how to go about it.any help?

Ask the Juvenile Court, your local school counselors or the Dept of Social Services for referrals/recommendations for an appropriate local practitioner. I would not hesitate. It often takes weeks-month to get an appointment with a Psychologist or Child Therapist.
The practitioner would need multiple sessions with your son in order to do a thorough assessment.
In some clinics, it is necessary for a therapist to be assigned first; see your son a number of times and then that therapist would make a referral to the psychologist or psychiatrist for testing.
And (sorry to my therapeutic colleagues) be aware that they are notorious for dragging their heels. Speak directly with the psychologist, even though they are working with your son and not you, for updates on his condition and ask when the report will be available Be sure to follow up; continue asking, respectfully, when the report will ready.
