A lot of guardians are investing on computers and availing of internet service given the reason that they want to help out their teens fulfill school research and assignments. A lot of parents believed that it will be easier and safer for their child to do all the research and homework within their household. It can also generate more sense of security of some parents who want their child are home early and will not spend so late on a library or a friend’s house doing some research for school work. It is also a good start for your child to be familiar with computers and also have information of the many technologies lay open in recent times. Getting ready your kid’s computer means that the computer is well equipped with security software so that it will not be easily threatened by spywares, malwares and computer viruses. Having all these security software installed keeps your computer well protected against malicious software and other software attacks. You should instruct too your child how to scan the computer and how to update the security programs you have installed. The only main difference about paid software and free software is the level of support you can get from paid software and the different channels of communication available for paid software.
The second important point you need to make sure is that you also have maintenance software like Registry Booster installed on the computer of your youngster. You simply can't go wrong with RegistryBooster. This software is responsible for cleaning the registry of the computer and can also improve a bit the speed and operation of your child’s computer. You also should think much about cost because there are free registry cleaners that are available on the internet. On that instance, troubleshooting it could be much more not easy. Try Registry Booster by Uniblue to repair your registry. Once you have already installed Microsoft Office, word processor will be available, and so as Excel and Power Point which are mainly what students’ use for their research papers and other paper works. It is important that you make sure that all the necessary programs are installed first, because without them your child might feel a little difficulty in using the computer and doing all his or her school work which defeats the reason of buying a computer and availing internet service. Another option would be to look for a cheaper version like the student edition which you can try before you actually purchase the software. If your problem is money, then there are cheaper versions of the Office like the student edition which you can also try and think if it is good for you and for your child.
How to prepare for medical school entrance?
I'm planning on taking the Medical Entrance exam in the future. How do I prepare for it? Please don't just say read, because reading is a very broad topic. I'm looking for specific things, like sites that give me math and science (biology, chemistry, physics) practice. Also, should I shadow doctors while I''m in high school or in university? I'm open to all ideas!
Thanks in advance!!
i know about needing to get good grades and stuff... I need *specific* things to prepare me. i need to initiate an action. For example, say "read the news everyday" or "get this many hours of community service". I need sites that teach me biology, chemistry, physics and/or other subjects that are important.
MCAT is based on the prerequisites you are required to take in college: Biology, chemistry, organic chem, physics, English, and Calculus. It's a good idea to take AP classes in those courses to help prepare you. As for shadowing, yes, do it for both HS and college, or volunteer.
